Founded in the year 1637, Hartford is the oldest city in the US state of Connecticut. With a population of 124,775, it is the fourth largest city in the state, after New Haven, Bridgeport and Stamford. While the months of March and April are relatively cold, the month of May brings about a change of weather in the city. As the weather becomes pleasant, Hartford transforms completely. Several restaurants start offering outdoor seating, tourist attractions like Elizabeth Park start getting a number of visitors and outdoor activities become very popular among both locals and tourists.
