Located in the US state of Connecticut, Hartford is one of the oldest cities in the country. Till the year of 1960, this city was also the county seat of Hartford County until the county government was disbanded in the state. With a population of 124,775 (US Census 2010), Hartford is the fourth largest city in Connecticut after Stamford, New Haven and Bridgeport.
